Maysara Winery

The owners are Maysara are passionate about sustainability and terroir expression. In 1997, Moe and Flora Momtaze bought acres of wild farmland in McMinnville – land that was free of chemicals. Instead of using chemicals, they ploughed the earth over and over, eliminating weeds and revitalising the soil. Thereafter, pinot noir vines were planted, using holistic fertilisation methods involving flowers and herbs that are made into compost teas. The healthy soil and vines harvest top-quality grapes which in turn produce award-winning wines.
Their dedication to the terroir and sustainable farming practices, completely free of chemicals, is palpable in their delectable wines. Their opening hours are Monday to Saturday 11am-4.30pm when you can enjoy wines such as:
- 2019 Three Degrees Pinot Noir
- 2014 Jamsheed Pinot Noir
- 2015 Cyrus Pinot Noir
- 2015 Asha Pinot Noir
- 2015 Immigrant Pinot Noir
