This particular winery was established in the late 90s, by two daughters who combined both of their names to create the name Lincourt. The Lincourt winery makes use of a range of sustainable farming methods and prides itself on their high quality handcrafted wines and small production batches.
The seating is on a lawn underneath some beautiful trees, making it a wonderful spot for tasting wines on a lazy afternoon when the weather is good. The Lincourt Winery has a rustic and down to earth feel, and while the setting is simple, the wines are of high quality. Certainly, one of the best wineries in Solvang to visit.

Buttonwood Farm Winery and Vineyard
The wines produced at the Buttonwood Farm Winery and Vineyard are based on the types of wines one might find in the Bordeaux region of France. Of the wineries in Solvang, this one, in particular, offers some majestic views out over the vineyards, and over their collection of almond and also fruit orchards. It is a farm with many other things that one might expect to find on a farm, such as goats, various other animals, and other farm style features.
The wines on offer here are worth tasting and certainly purchasing. This is in addition to the peach preserve that is well known, as well as their unique BBQ sauce.

Rideau Vineyards
The Rideau Vineyards has a completely charming atmosphere, one which you will begin to absorb as you walk past a beautiful house with stunning garden beds, on your way down the path to their tasting room. The vineyard grows some specific grapes that make for very specific wines, unique flavours that this Solvang winery is known for.
The Rideau offers a simple casual tasting experience. However, they also offer a higher level Rideau Estate Experience, which includes a tour of the estate, topped off with a tasting session in the El Alamo Adobe. This Vineyard is a must-visit.

Sevtap Winery Tasting Room
The Sevtap Winery tasting Room is certainly something different, nestled under a Danish windmill. Naturally, it is located on Copenhagen Drive. Of the wineries, the Sevtap Winery is best known for its red wines produced in the Bordeaux style. The tasting room has a tasting bar which is located inside under some huge wooden beams of the windmill. When the weather is good, patrons can move outside and experience their wines under a covered patio, wonderful for when the weather is really hot.

Rusack Vineyards

Of course, you visit the Rusack Vineyards for the wonderful wines they produce, but the location of this particular vineyard is spectacular. The drive along the Ballard Canyon is a real highlight of this part of the country, in amongst this, one of the top Solvang wineries. The actual winery is surrounded by white fences with beautiful rose bushes, a spectacular sight when the roses are in bloom.
The Rusack vineyard consists of 48 acres. It is known in particular for its Syrah grapes, but other varieties are also grown on the farm. The tasting room is pretty, but patrons can also take their glasses and sit on the huge redwood deck, which is underneath the same amazing oak trees, creating a very special type of atmosphere. You can bring your own picnic, order one from the vineyard, or even order a cheese platter from the tasting room, and it can be enjoyed around the property. This is one of the best wineries in Solvang to visit.
