Kama By Vineet Restaurant, Harrods
This Indian-cuisine Michelin-starred restaurant set within Harrods is the very definition of a fine dining restaurant and as halal industry stats show, luxury is always popular. The interior is sleek, and well-suited for a meal out with work colleagues, or at least, impressing friends from out of town.
The chef, Vineet Bhatia is the world’s first Michelin starred Indian chef and he artfully combined his passion for traditional home-cooked Indian food with impressive presentations. The saffron mash potatoes, Dal makhani, and Samosa chickpea chaa are all delicious choices. Many food bloggers note the restaurant is halal but there is no confirmation of this on any official websites – so always check your menu item first before placing an order.

Central London
It’s not unusual that central London has an ever-growing number of posh Halal eateries since many fine dining restaurants are starting to cater to halal requirements.
The Great Chase, Clerkenwell
Any list of Halal fine dining in London has to include The Great Chase – and it’s completely understandable as to why. Not only are their ingredients locally sourced, they also do their best to be respectful of animal rights to boot.
As a completely alcohol-free option, and fully halal, they are inclusive of every type of dining requirement with global cuisines available. To the point that diners say they relish every bite. They also offer cuisine beyond classic British fare with Japanese elements, rustic countryside favourites, and even Italian influences. Classic tea is available, and with Lapsang Souchong or Earl Grey to choose between, along with a myriad of other choices, you won’t be hard-pressed to find the right blend for your meal choice.,

Benares is a definite yes if you’re in the Mayfair area with someone you’re hoping to impress. As a halal Michelin star restaurant, it should definitely be on your must-visit list as all their chicken and lamb dishes are fully halal. Ensuring you look your best while here is a must, as it is in Mayfair after all. The lamb dishes are always succulent, and as a posh halal restaurant, you’ll be very pleased with the variety of foods available that you can enjoy and share with family and friends. With four private dining rooms available, the largest of which can cater to 36 guests, ensures they can be hired for product launches, corporate events, and personal celebrations.

MNKY HSE, Mayfair
MNKY HSE provides a glimpse of Latin American food at its finest. With all the meat here offered halal (barring the Wagyu beef which you can try at Buddha Bar or Hot Stone listed above), this place is ideal and is a definite sensory treat on many levels. It’s also somewhere to sit back and have a relaxed and luxurious evening with someone special, as there’s a lot less pressure to dress up in your fanciest outfit, despite it being found in Mayfair. The atmosphere is sumptuous and decadent without being over the top extravagant.
Head Chef Mark Morrans has reimagined Latin American cuisine, and it’s well-paired with the energetic, upbeat, edgy, and sophisticated atmosphere. It’s somewhere to grab lunch at least once, though if you’re interested in trying their late night to daylight weekend brunch event, be warned they’re incredibly popular so booking is recommended.

Buddha Bar, Knightsbridge

Another top-notch Asian food halal option is Buddha Bar, and this is also where you’ll want to bring your date. Their interior is a fully sensory experience, from the lighting to the darkly decadent decor and sensuous music in the background. Their food is a pan-Asian fusion of delicacies from Thai cuisine, along with Japanese and Chinese inspirations. They are fully halaal with their meats, though they do serve alcohol on-site.
You’ll want to dress up when here, as you’re certain to have a night to remember. Spicy lobster tempura, wok-fried red snapper, and Halibut en Croûte are some of the top fish dishes. While roast duck breast, Wagyu skirt steak, lamb shank and vegan mapo tofu are some of the top dishes available. Make a point of trying some of their infusions and teas.

Amaya, Knightsbridge
Having opened its doors in 2004, Amaya is a halal Michelin-starred restaurant that offers sharing platters and single-sized treats from a dramatic open-aired kitchen. Considered to be unconventional fine dining, they certainly have claimed their avant-garde atmosphere. They offer an average of 45 menu choices on any given day – with each choice marinaded, grilled, and spiced to have its own distinct flavour profile. This makes it incredibly hard to grow tired of the variety available, and even if you’ve grown weary of traditional Indian fare like breyani or prawns, you’ll find it hard to do that here.
Please note that alcoholic beverages are served here. On Saturday and Sunday only, children aged 6 to 10 are welcome for reservations at 5.30pm & 6.15pm only and must leave the restaurant by 8pm. During the week, no children below age 6 are allowed.

House of Ho, Camden
While not as swanky as the above offerings, House of Ho in Camden is worth considering if you’re hoping to catch up with an old friend or have a heart to heart with a sibling. The modern and chic House of Ho delivers incredible helpings of halal pho – and more, since they cater fully to having halal meats and poultry on hand, and they are also considerate of most food allergies like gluten-free and vegetarian. This Pan-Asian inspired restaurant has a cosy atmosphere combined with polished mirrors, lime accents, and silver and chrome hints from the open kitchen, and down lights. They also offer limited outdoor seating for those balmy summer afternoons.
One of the reasons it made the top halal restaurants in London list is it serves Chilean Sea Bass (also called Patagonian toothfish) which you’ll usually only find in 5=star restaurants. Be warned, the fish is served with a Vietnamese Fermented Plum Sauce that’s an acquired taste, but there are plenty of other menu items to choose from if that doesn’t tickle your fancy. Fruity mocktails are a nice pairing option and the desserts served are large enough to share. Please note alcohol is served here.

What Are The Best Halal Date Night / Romantic Restaurants In London?
While the above restaurants do offer some incredibly gorgeous fine-dining halal restaurants, there are three more that deserve a mention as halal date night favourites.

- Dans Le Noir is not a romantic restaurant to consider unless you have some money in the bank.
