DiverXO
DiverXO is the only three-Michelin Star restaurant Madrid has to offer. The restaurant defines its cuisine as ‘fun, surprising and very flavoursome’, which almost every patron can agree is very accurate. This eatery was awarded its third star in 2013 and has managed to maintain it ever since. This star also marked the first time a restaurant in the city had been awarded more than two stars in the two decades prior to it.
The Head Chef at DiverXO is David Munoz. He has made the decision to serve only two degustation menus, each of which is composed of a whopping eight fixed dishes, with an additional 10 dishes that vary depending on the availability of seasonal ingredients. This gives each diner the opportunity to enjoy a wide array of flavours created with the freshest possible ingredients, while at the same time, discovering Chef Munoz’s excellent cuisine.

With its two Michelin Stars, El Club Allard boasts three different menus, namely ‘Seduction’. ‘Encounter’ and ‘Revolution’. Each menu consists of a combination of snacks, starters, fish, meat and desserts.
This restaurant is located in Madrid’s central district of Arguelles, and up until fairly recently, was an exclusive, members-only establishment. These days, it is open to the public and run by Maria Marte. She prides herself on basing all of her recipes on the principle that a mixture of quality and simplicity makes for an excellent mix of flavours and textures – and she is absolutely right!
