The Great Italian Truffle Hunt
The Langhe has a rich culinary scene, as the birthplace of the Slow Food Movement, host of some of Italy’s most revered wines and home of the highly prized White Truffle of Alba. Autumn time is certainly the finest time to visit, since truffle season runs from mid-September to late November.
With the opportunity to join local truffle hunters and their dogs, a spot of treasure hunting of your own is not out of the question.
