Where To Stay
If you’re looking for the best accommodation, you’ll have an amazing experience in Ibiza villas! Forget the big box hotels that are boring and impersonal. Instead, treat yourself to your own private luxury villa with everything you could possibly want. All the Ibiza villas offer something special, whether it’s a unique pool all to yourself or for hosting all-night pool parties, a breathtaking view to wake up to, or a gorgeous kitchen for your private chef to cook you a gourmet dinner.
With locations all over the island you’ll never be too far from something you enjoy doing, or somewhere to enjoy doing nothing.
For the foodies, Ibiza is home to some of the best restaurants in Spain. You can try the local fare, sample some of the most sublime seafood or enjoy tapas with traditional flavour. If you prefer high-octane entertainment, adventure sits minutes from your door. Water sports, boat trips, forest hikes, city tours, nightclubs, you name it…it’s all on your doorstep. An Ibiza villa is your home base where you can keep the party going or take a well-deserved rest in style.
What To Eat
To truly experience Ibiza cuisine at its best, you need to venture into the smaller, interior towns such as San Lorenzo. While you’re there, eat at La Paloma. Casual lunch and elevated dinners do not disappoint at this family-owned establishment and every dish is a treat. The restaurant has its own gardens where they grow many of the ingredients they use, so it’s a real home-grown dining extravaganza.
On the hot summer days, you can dine in the cool airy garden surrounded by the produce that will soon be on someone’s plate. The menu is definitely vegetarian-focused. However, they do serve meat too.
What To Do
The list of things to do in Ibiza is almost endless, from swimming to surfing, hiking to cycling, or dancing the night away at one of the many clubs or pubs found across the island. However, one activity everyone should try is paddleboarding on the calm waters of San Antonio Bay. The craggy rock formations and crystal blue sea make this an unforgettable experience, and it’s the perfect way to embrace island-style living.
If you want to add something special to the mix, then a sunset paddleboarding session is ideal. You don’t need to have any paddleboarding experience either, as the water is exceptionally calm and there is training provided. Once you’re ready, you can paddle your board out and admire the scenery while hearing the faint roar from the bar and club-lined shore. When you’ve made your way back to shore, you’ll find a warm welcome and mojitos waiting for you.
What To See
Ibiza’s old town is filled with attractions. The Dalt Vila UNESCO site was built by Charles V in the 16th century and it’s earned its heritage status for good reason. The fortified walls were built to fight off pirates and sovereign forces and there are seven bastions complete with cannons and other fascinating artefacts to explore. In the walls, you’ll find a number of steep alleys that feature galleries, bakeries, boutiques and other local amenities. These alleys also take you to squares like the Plaza de la Vila and Plaza de Sa Carros which are perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee, a beer or a cocktail.
Perched at the highest point is the Ibiza cathedral which dates back to 1399. Inside, you can gaze upon 14th and 15th-century gothic panel paintings and the gothic gold and silver ostensorium. You’ll feel like you’ve been whisked back in time, and this is one cultural experience you shouldn’t miss.
Something Unique
If you’d like to take a break from the restaurants, clubs and city streets then it’s definitely time to explore the Can Marçà Caves. Once used by smugglers to store their goods, these caves are now a popular tourist attraction. In addition to a cave tour, there’s also a water and light show that will give you a different perspective on Ibiza.
